Default ABS

well, for months now my ABS have been giving me problems, it all started when i just got my rims and sprayed them down with the hose. After that my ABS have been kicking in every time i stop, no matter how lightly i press on the breaks, or engine break. It is really annoying, and eventually the ABS light will come on. It usually comes on when i make turns, but anyways, what should i do? I heard it costs a lot of money to get them fixed and it really isnt a big deal to me, ive only had them kick in once. Is there a fuse or something i can take out to disable them completely?

Take the wheels off and check if your ABS sensor is disconnected or if the ABS wheel has a chipped tooth or something. Either of these problems will make the computer think that one wheel is spinning at a different speed than the other wheels, so when you brake it thinks your going into a skid and engages ABS.
