Default BBS Wheels.. Thoughts?

I know they are a little bit on the old school side, but what do you guys think of these? They are 15" Gold BBS RA's with alloy lip (+33 offset) as noted by the seller.

A guy on CL near me has them up FS/FT. Soooo I E-mailed him, and it turns out he is looking for a bunch of stock parts that I have laying around. Instead of $550, he is looking to get parts from me (old headlights, tail lights, grille etc) + $275 on my end. I figured this would be a good idea as I am planning on spending over $300 on new tires and spacers in order to use the CRX SI wheels I have.

He says tires are good. 195/50/R15 on two wheels, 195/55/R15 on the other two. The difference in tire sizes is the only thing "bad" about them. Even still, I would probably just ride on them until they needed replaced, and then go from there.

Edit - What should I be looking for when I go to check them out? Anything in particular to tell me that these are real BBS wheels and not a knock-off?

Yea... I ended up going out there last night to meet up with him. He apparently liked my car and started asking how much for things like my headlights, rear lip etc lol

I ended up picking the wheels up for $240 + old tail lights, headlights, a 12" fan I had laying around, and my rear lip (I didnt like it anyways). sweet. I will post pics later this weekend when I get a chance to put them on and re-adjust the suspension.

They look cool. I just got the same wheels for my girlfriends civic. Did you have to get extended studs to make them fit? I did, and am in the process of grinding down the edges with a file so I can put them in without removing the hub and getting new bearings. i wish I knew that before i bought them.

They were black with a gold lip when I got them. I think they looked sweet, but she wants them silver.
