Default bmw rims and tires

i recently came across four bmw aluminum rims and cooper tires. i put one one my 95' civic dxand the lugs matched up well. i only finger tightened them on,but seemed to fit right. i do not know if there is something else to consider for a proper fit with them. they are 14" rims and my car is a 13". has anyone else used them. i would hate to pass them up for the price i can get them for. thanx.

It's a popular other than OE option on honda -tech to use the BMW "bottle cap" rim, from what I've seen the rim has the exact same lug pattern and almost the same offset to work on civics but I'm not sure on rubber sizing being the same or not.... Either way if they're in good shape and you like the look than I'd say go for um, my civic is rolling on a set of non honda oe rims that are kinda rare

blackdx,
thanks for the info. i do not know what "bottle cap" rims are. i got the numbers off the rims. KBA 41017 BMW 2 225 540 347 ET 30 6 1/2 J 14H 2. i don't know what all they mean, just want them to work right. thanx again for any input.
