Default Brake line needs to be replaced.

Heyas,

Brake line is ruested and it needs to be replaced soon. I was wondering if it's a big job to do, and also, is there any kind of "performance" brake line hehe (would it even be worth it?). I'm just wondering, cause i'd rather replace it with an upgraded one than the stock one. BTW, this is for a Â*'99 Si.

Yes, get some high quality steel lines, and do NOT cheap out!

You could probably find stainless steel hardline, but regular steel should last you quite a while if you paint it with clearcoat. Get yourself a set of flarenut wrenches and a small tubing bender, then take the old line off and find a same-size replacement at the autoparts store. They're pretty cheap. The most expensive items should be the flarenut wrenches. You might be able to borrow one from somebody.

get braide steel brake lines. average price is about $100 a set.

they'll pay for themselves with improved brake feel and firmness.
