Default Brake replacement

Hi Folks,

I have a 2002 Honda Civic Coupe LX, with front discs and rear drums. I would like to replace the brakes and I was wondering if anybody could advise me on what would be a suitable replacement. Everything on my car is stock.

Thanks for your help.

Danny

If everything is stock, I would stick with OEM brake shoes. Aftermarket one tend to either glaze your rotors and start squeaking or warp them.

unless you replace the rotors too. most aftermarket brake kits replace everything, and if you're making to be a hot street car or even a weekend track car, then you want the brakes. so it'd b a good place to start. afterall, after getting that speed up you need a way to stop
