Default c-pillar/trunk bars

Im looking for cheap/easy ways to stiffen my ride for autox. I've been researching these c-pillar bars and was wondering what u guys think about them. do u think its worth buying it? will it make a noticable handling difference? I know that the rear passengers will prolly hit their heads on the bar but i was thinkin about putting a foam cover around it for a lil more protection, also i normally dont have more than 1 passenger so its not to big of a deal. I've read that there is no need to cutting or any modification for installation, is this true? I know that its not gena be nearly as good as one of those x-bar type things but i want something cheap. I havnt found very many good pics online for this bar, does anybody on here have one of these and/or have a good pic??

I also found those trunk bars while looking up c-pillar stuff. first time i ever heard of them or thought about putting bars there. does anyone know anything about these? all i can find are a couple pictures and whatnot. anyone know any good sites for cheap ones?

thanks!

pics for those who dont know what im talking about:

That C-pillar will definitely give your chassis some stiffening, but I would go with the trunk bar. I am getting one myself. They have those packages of 4 that include the strut tower brace, upper and lower tie bars and that trunk one. Something like this. Doesn't have to be that exact one, but you get the idea. There is a review of a combo like that in the review sectinon and it's a good one. I think Forty has the kit too.

i already have strut and tie bar package, got it a while ago. I think im gena get one of those c-pillar bars from ebay, they're all about $40 shipped. The cheapest set of trunk bars i found i think were $130-140 shipped, little out of my price range....anyone know any sites that are cheaper?? if not then ill prolly just put that money back into my suspension savings...
