well i got the shoe completely off, but the metal thing the ebrake was connected to wont come off. it has a little horseshoe shape clip that holds it to the shoe...

 

use a small screw driver and just pry it out... it slides straight across the brake pad metal part. and then the pin just falls out the back. very simply once you get that clip off slightly then its easy to pull it off the rest of the way BUT BE WARNED... that sucker MIGHT try and fly away once ya pop it off.... so put a rag or your hand around the clip and try to slowly pull it off. ive had several pop off on me and spent way to much time trying to find that little thing!
