change wheels and lowering it

i have 00 civic and planning to change the wheels and lower it,im thinking of between 15 and 16, my spring still stock, front shocks is KYB and the rear was agx kyb (adjustable).im in a tight budget right now ,what do u think guys,is it gonna work on my kyb if ill just change the spring:?what else should i consider just in case. i like the 16 but it might rub if wont change my suspension completely

im ridin 17's on a stock suspension im doin fine go with the 16's

Im lowered 2 inches at least on 17s. I rub on hard turns but other than that its fine. Im moving to 16s here shortly and would say if you plan on new wheels, 15 or 16 will do fine.

i used my car in every day driving so i cant use 17 on it ill try 16 maybe,thanks guys for the response
