17's can look good with a drop, and 205/40/17's i beleive are pretty close to the OEM diameter

yep 205-40-17s for 17s... i think they said it was like 0.008 off of stock.LOL but thats not enough to hurt anything. your MPH should be the same....

but with the size rims just go with what ya like...
if ya like performance get some smaller lightweight rims....
if ya like style go with some 17-18s
i wouldnt do 18s tho cause then the tires are EXTREMLY lowpro.... i like my 17s cause they still have enough meat to take some beating...

ride ruffer BUT look... OOOOO SO GOOD! LMFAO

I've got an 03 Si Hatchback that I can't decide on 16's or 17's... already lowered a bit but want a good balance between ride comfort/noise and some good looks... any suggestions?

if they rub.... and your cars lowered....get a fender roller and roll that inner fender lip up outta the way... thats what i had to do.... OR run negative camber in the rear.... but if they rub in the front then you either need some smaller tires OR the offset on your rims isnt right...
