Default Coilover question!

I found these dropzone coilovers on craigslist and was thinking about purchasing them.

$50 seems very reasonable for them, but I honestly don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to lowering cars and such.

I want to know if you guys think I should get them, and if i get these dropzone coilovers is there anything else I have to get to lower my car or do I only have to install these?

Well if you plan on lowering the car around 1.5'' or less, stock struts will be fine for the mean time... However, they will eventually blow.

In the end, I would suggest to check out some struts for your car to use in conjunction with those sleeves.... that's if you plan on buying them.

Or... you can save up some money, get a nice coilover/strut combo (ground controls with KYB's seem to be a favorite..... or save up and buy a full coilover set-up which allows you to adjust almost everything. They would look something like this...

I actually just put these on with dropzone gen. II Struts. So far the ride hasnt been anything I havent expected. But If i were you I would look into some better struts than dropzone. BTW the springs are pretty stiff so just be prepared to feel every bump. You can get the combo deal I was talking about on ebay for $300.
