creaking when letting go of breaks
hey im getting a creaking noise in the back when i let go of the breaks. Not a squeaking noise. Actual breaking there is no noise. Accelerating the noise goes away. What could this be? Does not sound like metal on metal, but its definitely noticeable- sounds like static too. I recently had my rear tires balanced and removed and put back on. and i sort of reversed and squeezed my way out of a parking situation when my e brake was on still on. i did not drive it very far, but i constantly had to reverse and drive reverse and drive to get out of the space. and i just got new motor mounts and lca front bushings.

If its a creaking when you not breaking, could be your rear LCA bushings. My old civic would creak everytime I stopped or started to accelerate. I put some new LCAs on and it was gone. You can also try hitting them with some wd40. Replacing the bushings is more of a hassle and not much cheaper than just buying some Blox or similar brand LCAs with bushins.
