Default DC Sport Front Upper Strut Brace

Well I splurged and bought the brace today, put it on, definately felt a difference around turns, was a bit surprised at the position of the bar (I'll post pics here in a bit) but all in all I'm very happy with it. Bought it from a local shop around here, gave me a good price, even went as far to lower the price for me when I mention Cardomain had it for sale for $157, got it for $196, yeah its a few dollars more than I woulda paid had I bought from the NET but I didn't want to wait for it to be processed and shipped so I'll put up the few extra dollars. Got a quote on TEIN springs at $220 shipped to them. Soon as I get the credit cards paid off some *NOTE: thats if they are paid off before winter* I'll take it down and have them install everything and then all that will be left is sway bars and a rear strut brace. Then on to the fuel system and engine in the spring. Anywho back on subject I'll post pics for you guys later tonite.

Yeah, handling is one of those things you didn't know you needed until you get it.

Brakes and then sway bars are next on my list.

Here's the pics!!!

The second pic has a lil circle, can anyone tell me if thats exhaust leak, I don't hear and funny noises and can't see any black soot on the headers, have never cleaned the engine yet so perhaps its from before I purchased it. If ya got an idea lemme know.

Looks good man.

And that looks like a leak to me, but be careful tightening those bolts down. I broke one putting my header on and torquing on it too hard.

I got mad sgrunff yo.

Ok so I tried to tighten it and it's not going any tighter, didn't wanna break anything so I didn't try tremendously hard. Tomorrow I'll take a closer look at it.

Did you reuse your old gasket or did you get a new one when you put it on?

Well, your new brace looks great, filter looks like it has enough oil on it, and your header still looks in great shape. Overall, I think you got it goin!
