Default Del Sol - non ABS, swapped in ABS front brakes, now problems

I have a 1993 Del Sol that I did a 94 Integra swap on the front brakes. Calipers, hubs, brackets, pads, rotors, master cylinder and booster. After the install I bled all four wheels in the correct pattern and now when I drive it, after braking at some intersections, the brake pedal gets very stiff. So stiff in fact that the car won't go over 40 mph and I smell pads burning. I've adjusted the pedal, thinking that was it, but it didn't help. Tried swapping out vacuum hoses and that helped slightly, but it still isn't right. I've searched many forums and can't figure it out, as I haven't read where anyone has had this problem. The only way to release the pressure is to open the bleeder valves on the front calipers. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure at all, but only two pieces of the puzzle come to mind. Do you have the proper brake proportioning valve? And did the Integra have ABS?

Still using the Del Sol proportioning valve. I'm pretty sure that the Integra had ABS, but I'm researching now.

The Integra does have ABS.

I assume your del Sol is non-ABS? That's the problem. Can't use ABS brakes on a car without ABS.

Yes, the Del Sol is non-ABS, so I guess that makes sense. Do I have to swap the brake booster and master cylinder back, or just the calipers, brackets, rotors and pads?

I just looked, and there aren't any wires for the ABS, obvious, since the Del Sol doesn't have ABS, but nothing is connected to the Integra brakes. Should that cause an issue?

This, unfortunately, is where my usefulness on this issue ends. All I really know is that if you have ABS, swap in brakes with ABS. If you don't have ABS, you have to use non-ABS brakes. I ran into this issue when I swapped rear disc brakes from a Civic Si and luckily I found the right trailing arms without ABS.
