differnce between upper and lower sway bars

hey everyone, i was just wondering if there was a big difference in like performance in upper and lower sway bars? and if there was a big difference, because i really dont want to cut up the interior of my trunk to put in a rear upper. if anyone could help me find maybe even another post that explains it all.. or could explain it to me... that would be greatly appreciated... thanks.. PEACE!

I've never heard of an upper sway bar, only an upper STRUT BRACE. As far as cutting up your interior to install one, you only have to do a little bit of cutting. Check out the DIY section, there is a DIY on rear strut braces. I've never had strut braces so i can't comment on how well they work.

you only have to make two or three cuts in each side of your trunk to get to the strut tower.

Get sway bars first....there's two: front and rear....both under the car, both expensive.
