disc brakes (gsr or si?) 97 civic

thanks it sounds like gsr breaks arent worth it
so si it is
with brembo or some other aftermarket parts it should be plenty of stopping power right?
si front discs are larger than my stock right?

Yes, you will have more stopping power with a nice set of brakes. A favorite combination I have noticed many people mention is Brembo blank (not drilled, not slotted... normal rotors) rotors, and Hawk HPS pads.

I believe Si has larger front discs, yes.

That's the same fitment as an integra brake set.

I don't know. Same as with the Integra brakes we already talked about. You should be able to make it work but it's just a little less straightforward than the 99-00 Si brakes.
