Default Dropzone Coilover and Shock Setup

I was looking at a Skunk2 Pro series coilover and shock setup but it was $650 total on ebay and the dropzone setup is only $300. Before anyone says there is a reason and you get what you pay for, hear me out fora minute. I really don't feel like paying $650 for my suspension setup because I don't have that kind of money. I've searched and searched and heard good and bad things about dropzone shocks and coilovers. A lot of people say it's a rough ride...I believe that to probably be true since I hear it a lot. But are they really complete junk? I hear some people saying that they work great and they've had them for a long time. Other people say that are just completely crappy. Can they really be that bad or are they just rough riding? As far as fitment and serving their purpose, do they get the job done? Or am I really going to regret spending that money and have major problems?

i know that for saturns they are complete crap!!! i dont know anyone that still has those and i know alot of saturn owners. everyone that buys them replaces them with just normal struts and springs...

if ur not wanting to spend that much on coilovers y not just get some struts and springs? get the rate and drop u want.... unless u really want the adjustment u get form coilovers

Thanks, but what I'm asking is why are they crap? I've read about them on tons of forums. Some people like them, some people don't, but the people that don't like them always just say they're crap. I've never heard a reason from anybody. Is it bad fitment, do they break, or do they just not perform up there with the top brands?

Read the reviews in our product review section. They are a bit bouncy, but get the job done somewhat...
