i have dx civic which most of you know has the crazy upward facing throttle body. i just put on an AEM CAI and wanted to get a little better suspension w/o blowing $500 on shocks & struts. i'm looking at getting a front strut tower bar, but as you know, the intake pipe is in the way. i did find this Greddy bar: http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/pric...rut_Tower_Bars and it says it fits the DX. are they s****ing me or does anyone know if it does actually fit? if it doesn't, what would i have to do to make a strut bar fit?

 

It will fit your car only if you take off your CAI. It will NOT fit with an aftermarket induction kit unless it is bent in front of it

 

neuspeed or dc sports are the only options that will fit with an aem cai.. i've heard people having better luck with others and injen sri's..

 

I had this same problem. i had a Aem ram air intake,and a dc sports strut bar but what happened was every time i hit the gas the eng rocked and hit the intake.
So i put the bar to the side never used it, so later i could dump the eng for a H22. There realy is nothing you can do sorry.
