Default G2 MAX POWER COILOVERS

Well, my friend gave me a brand new set of "G2 MAX POWER" coilovers... I don't know where he got them, how much he paid, or anything. They look decent... Should I put them on or throw down a good bit of money for a real lowering kit?

I don't have that kind of money just yet... is there any way the coilovers could go bad or anything? I just don't want to regret this if I do put them on. I know they won't last as long as the stock springs but that's not an issue to me as long as I can get a good 3-4 years out of them.

Well, little help... I'm not very familiar with suspensions. I can get money. What would you/or anybody reading recommend I get? I'd like to keep it semi-cheap, I'm not trying to drift my car or anything. I'm just looking for a nice lower look with a good ride and I don't want to screw up my car basically.

with a sleeve over coilover it will ride rough/bouncy and your stock shocks will hate you. just get some lowering springs and leave it at that for now
