Default going to lower...

i am going to lower my 00 civic si very soon. i am looking at 3 different types of shocks/struts...tokico illumnas, tokico hp's, or the eibach pro dampers. out of these 3, which one would be the best? i am leaning toward the illumnas because u can adjust the height right? also, whick set of springs should i put on there? tokico illumnas with the eibach sportline kit? and i can adjust the height UP if its TOO LOW? am i correct and is this a good setup?

yes, the illuminas are the best out of those. your question is too broad though, how much do you want to spend on springs, or coilovers. what are your goals? dailiydriver, autox, track? you can onlly adjust height with coilovers..

my car will be a daily driver, but i want it to look and perform good. ok, so tokico illumnas with what kind of springs? i really would like a set of tein coilovers but dont want to spend $900...$600 is what i was aiming for. i saw the illumnas on ebay for about 350-400 so that leaves room for a good set of springs.

tein, h&r, eibach, and neuspeed are all great companies to look into. search around and you'll find a drop height your looking for. if 600 is your limit, for a little more you could get tein basic coils, or omni..ive heard iffy reviews on both though. and id also look into getting front/rear camber kits!

If I were you, Id stay away from Tein springs if you didnt have money. Even used, theyre gonna be about $650.

whoa, Tein lowering springs are about the same price range as Eibachs. youre thinking of their full coilovers.
