Default good news, bad news

i fixed my coilover finally. it took about an hour to get the sleeve off the shock. i had to take a dremel to it and hammer it to death with screwdrivers and wedges. andi finally got the lower control arm off. it was a PAIN to get off. i had to drill out the long bolt and it took so long. finally i got tired of that and was almost to the threads of the bolt so i used an ease out. this caused the nut that was tack welded on the backside to break off and then that was it. i knocked the bolt through and got it off. FINALLY. but, now i have to find a newnut because the broken part of the bolt is still threaded through it and it will NOT come out. where can i find one? well here are some pics. you can see the aftermath....

MORE BAD NEWS!!! i went to put on my rear sway bar and started to put it through the lower control arms when i noticed that the bolt isnt long enough to come through the lower contol arm and you cant get a nut on it. my new lower control arms are thicker than the stock ones therefore the stock sway bar doesnt work. is there any way i can make it work or what? if i have to buy a new one i guess i will.....just as long as i know it will work!!! look.....

Are you using function 7 control arms? if so you'll need to purchase their swaybar connections... (they like to be different).

What you could do is take the bolt to parts store and check their selectons, the dealership doesn't have the nut listed.... I'm in the same place with mine but I found that one of the nuts from my old shocks fits the bolt perfectly...

the nut will probably have to be found at a hardware store unless u can snag another oem shock and break the nut off that one. get some aftermarket endlinks, they'll fit/work much better.
