my rear tires are as smooth as racing slicks and my fronts have about a 1/8 inch...not so fun for winter..any good tires for civic??

When I first got my Civ, it had Kumho studded tires on the back with the studs removed [sm=icon_rock.gif]. Those things had MAD grip!!

 

i talked the guy at Goodyear down for about an hour on some Dunlop FM901s, i get my 195-50-15s for like 285 out the door, installed. they are some of the stickiest tires ive ever driven on on the street. (except the stock EVO tires, Advan A046. DAMN!) the only complaint i have is that the sidewalls could be a little stiffer, but overall, its the best tire ive ever had. and im about to go get a new set of them installed today or tomorrow. and ive got you beat. mine are slicks all the way around, except about an inch and a half on the outside edges, that has less than 1/8 inch[:@]

 

im running the bf goodrich g-force kdw2 and they stick very well. you really have to rip on it to get them to break loose

 

i just got some Bridgestone Lamons all weather tires

I got these cheap *** kumho's for $50 a tire.... not bad at all for what... 5.5 width? they fit on the stock wheels. Hell I had kumho supras on my old '95 240sx... they were a BANG for the buck and a HALF! The tread pattern was cool as $hit too!
