Default Help with 2001 civic suspension

Which would be a better replacement for my car?

HTML Code:
http://www.amazon.com/Monroe-71433-Sensa-Trac-Struts-Cartridge/dp/B000C59N7E/ref=au_pf_ss_6?ie=UTF8&n=15684181&s=automotive&carId=001
or

HTML Code:
http://www.amazon.com/KYB-331008-GR-2-Strut/dp/B000C3ZCIA/ref=au_pf_ss_2?ie=UTF8&n=15684181&s=automotive&carId=001
I dont know much but how to get it installed but the shops in the area are charging me a lot more for parts. Also I am getting both sides done.

Thanks

I like the second options better out of the two. I would also recommend shocks with the struts as well.

Both of those are OE Replacement struts, they are comparable to each other so just go with the Monroes since they are cheaper.

Chances are on an '01 Civic, you don't need any other parts but those if all you have are worn out struts. You can reuse the bump stops, top hats, boot cover, etc... Unless there is some other damage, the shop is probably just looking to make some extra money.

The Monroes state strut and cartridge so I'm sure it's all pre-assembled and ready to install. The KYB just say Struts but for the price, I would imagine they mean Strut assembly(including cartridge).
