It's not because of the speed rating that I prefer 16s. As a general rule, the higher the speed rating, the lower the aspect ratio, the stiffer the sidewalls, and the faster the steering response. Of course, the lower the aspect ratio, the harsher the ride, so a good compromise is 45-50 aspect ratios.
