My name is John i'm new to this forum, i have a serious problem on my hands. I own a 2001 honda civic LXit has 108K miles on the engine, it's non V-tec but i don't really care love it the way it is. I'm leavin for GA next tuesday but i'm tryin to get a couple things fixed before i decide to drive it down. I have a worn out lower control arm bushing, and i brought it to a shop to see if i could get the bushing replaced. He called couple places and all they said was that they had a complete lower control arm with the bushing but i don't need a whole new control arm i jus need the bushing, plus the part cost 200 dollars and labor would be another 100.
So my question is, is there a place where i can get jus the bushing for the lower control arm and where, if not is there anybody that's willing to sell me there used one that has low miles on it? Thanks again, and please respond as soon as u can since i'm on a deadline. Thanks

 

price will depend on which bushing. it can range from like $7 to like $30 for one. dealership should have the bushing in stock, if not they can order it and have it ready for u to pick up in 2 days. any idea of how much u were quoted for labor on just replacing the single bushing?
