Default inner tie rods

Anyone ever replace one themselves? The right side is bad. I am going to change it myself but it looks a little tricky. Has an odd nut on it too, I hope there isnt a special tool I have to buy? Anyone know of a howto? Thanks.

Default RE: inner tie rods

Never had to replace one on my Civic but did replace one on an 87' Forerunner I used to have. It wasn't that hard but I don't know about the Civics. A good idea would be to buy a repair manual for you car. Haynes or Chilton brand. If you need a tool you don't have, maybe your local auto parts store rents tools. Advance Auto Parts does. Hope that helps. Good luck.
