im running max speed adjustible coilovers all around and i have 2 blown stock shocks i nthe front, but i have 2 tokico illumina's in the rear set to 3, the reason i dont have the front was that i when i got it, it was defective, so i had to send it back for warranty, any comments?? just curious if it would be a problem cause i dont seem to feel that there is anyhting wrong but i just wann be safe

You bought 4 Illuminas (great shock by the way) and had to send the fronts for repair and are now riding on to blown stocks and 2 illuminas and you want to know if it will be safe?

 

That is kind of what I got too. If that is the question, then I would say any blown shocks/struts will be unsafe. If you are going at high rates of speeds and one corner is properly damped while another isn't your car will tend to sway side to side while the underdamped corner is oscillating. Bottom line is no it is not safe and use punctuations next time

 

=P okay .. to me safe isnt as safe in driving but .. lets say .. would it damage anything in my car ?? >.< lol but yeah my bad about hte punctuation thing but i thought it would be easy to understnad

anyways here's my next problem okay 4 illumina's are on but on the rear there isnt any of hte orange rubber thingy on .. on the shocks , would it damage my shocks or wear it off faster?? i mean there's bumper stops and the springs in all is the orange rubber thingy necessary?

 

oh yeah what are your illumina's setting mines set at 4 firm in front and 3 in the rears

 

I don't think that dust covers are required...I don't have any on, but you're probabnly better off finding some rubber ones
