lca trouble
ok, i was going to put on one of my new lcs's yesterday. got to the last bolt thats under the rotor and it will not move! this thing feels like its welded in. and i tried so hard to get it off and the socket slipped and stripped the bolt. so now im screwed i guess. anything i can do? or is it gonna have to somehow be cut off......?

those are B!tch to get out, i broke one of mine but i was luck and the rear disk conversion i bought had the bolts still on it so i used them but yeah your going to need to get it drilled out, either do it your self and use a easy out to unscrew it or a shop
i hate that bolt. i broke the head off mine and cutting thru it and drilling thru it was such a headache. i'd still try to get it out with a special socket for stripped bolt heads, and use a looong breaker bar. chances are tho, it is seized in there and u'll have to drill it out.
If you can get any torque on it, try whacking the crap out of it with a hammer (straight on the head of the bolt)then turning it. Then after that, a drill and an easy-out are your next options.
screw this guys....i havent driven my car for 2 weeks because of that coilover sleeve or whatever. the sleeve came in today and its the wrong one. im pissed and am not even worried about the lca's right now.
