Does anyone know why the S-techs would have this gap issue where the front has a gap between the wheel and fender and the rear has no gap at all? Is this just the way the car sits on S-techs?

I just pm'ed you on that.

The EG rear fender is actually lower in height then the front one, not for the suspension, but the metal overall. this is why i would recommend getting coil overs, or at least sleeve overs.

ya I sent you a pm. Hey reaper, I checked into the skunk2 coilover sleeves and they are dual locking perches, but both are on the bottom of the spring. The second perch is made to lock against the first perch once adjustments are made so there is no possible way for the spring to lose its setting. Ive decided to go with the skunk2 coilovers. Ill post up some pics when they get here and then later show them on my car![8D]

I think I just figured out something for the eg hatches anyways. when installing the tein S-techs, the longer set of springs needs to be in the rear, shorter up front. The shocks reach down further in the rear of the car, therefore the springs need to be longer. Im going to tear down one side of suspension to check what springs the shop put in the back
