Default lowering 98 civic

Need help on lowering my 98 hx civic. It has 18 on it now but I want to lower it a little, and inprove handling. Which route should I take? How low can I go with 18? Not wanting to get all expensive. Was just thinking about springs. In doing that, will they should work with original strut? camber kits? rubbing? please help. tmaddox8@yahoo.com

well all depends on the wheels offset and width. and your tire size! 18inch rims tells us nothing that can help you....

we need tire size on these 18s, the rims offset measurement, and how low do you want to go....
you looking at just closing the fender gap or looking to tuck some tire or even tucking a bit of rim... if over 1.5-2inches you need to replace the struts as well since the stock ones will blow alot quicker!
