hey guys i need some help.. how much $ will it be to lower my 2000 civic ex coupe?.. i want some decent springs and struts or whatever..
i just want to lower my car without it being $hitty and is it hard to do your self?.. whats involved.. im a noob at this.. where to buy?.. and what?

for decent parts it will cost you at least $500 total (and that's if you search eBay for good deals) I bought KYB AGX shocks/struts for $380ish on ebay, and H&R Sport Springs for $180ish on ebay.

Yes, MINIMUM will be 500. If you are doing ALL the work yourself, set aside 600-800 for a decent setup. If you are paying someone to do it, save up 800-1500.

lowering springs - ~$500 if you do it yourself

coilover sleeves - ~$700-800 if you do it yourself



generally, a set of lowering springs will be from $150-200... any cheaper, and you're probably buying crap, any more expensive, and you're getting ripped off. Coilover sleeves will be around $300... don't bother with any of the $100 sets, they're pretty much crap.
