Default Lowering civic - cv joints question?

Hey, I have a 93 civic hatchback, and I want to lower it about 2" or so. Someone told me that if I want to lower it, I will have to replace the factory cj joints with aftermarket ones or else they would wear out much faster. Is this true or not? Thanks Scott

Welcome to HCF. No you don't have to replace your CV's.
