I'd say it's a good combo... most people here with s-techs are rockin' Tokico HP shocks, so I'd assume they play nice with the S-techs

keep in mind -- if you get aftermarket shocks, it'll most likely lower your car another .25" give/take.
they shouldn't... which shocks are you talking about?

Also keep in mind -- if you get aftermarket shocks, it'll most likely lower your car another .25" give/take. Some shocks have different perch settings as well.

yea wtf? are tokico illuminas shorter than stock shocks?

I can't speak for all shocks but I know some shocks have different perch settings which adjusts your ride height (not by alot). My Bilsteins on my IS300 has 2 perch settings which I have on the lowest setting w/dropped my car lower than Tein S-Tech's specs.

Back when I had my Accord, I was roll'n on stock shocks until I swapped them w/a set of Tokico blues and my wheel well gap decreased a bit.

ok im going with the s -techs and i was just wondering if it is normal on a 97 coupe dat the rear suspension is lower then the front ?
not usually....the front is usually lower with aftermarket suspension and the stock suspensin is usually pretty even, never heard of the front being higher
