Lowering torsion bar front?
I recently bought an 86 4 dr. for 500 bucks to commute with, now i'm looking to improve its look/stance. I haven't had much luck finding info on lowering my little black sheep 3rd gen civic. i'm looking to run some 16's i have available. i'm not wanting to go too low, or spend much cash. i am however capable of any diy methods out there, but do want it done right.(not like pulling out the grinder to "customize" my springs
any info i can get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much

i think you can get rear lowering springs for it (well i know you can for a crx), but you can adjust the front torsion bars to lower the front some. but there really isn't a lot out there for that generation. i wish there was because i want a 3rd gen crx so bad
well, i was kinda afraid it might be tougher to do than the other gen's cuz searching the net didn't bring up hardly any info about my car. anybody know what the ins and outs of adjusting the torsion bars are? also, in doing that, am i going to run into many negative consequences (i.e., camber problems, horrible ride, etc.) by adjusting them? any opinions would be helpful. thanks
