I have a guy wanting to trade me LS Mesh with excellent tires + 100 bucks for my wheels... check my garage and lemme know what you think... my tires are brand new as well just hate the 17's... makes the car feel like its on stilts...

so he is giving you his mesh +100 for you 17" wheels? i would hop all over it. those wheels are a bit big for your civic. mesh's are 15" so it would ride a lot better and look a lot better. i say go for it

 

Yea I say do it! Just be sure to check 'em out for any nasty curb rash or bent out of shape etc.... Are your tires better quality than his? The wheels you have might not look too bad with a drop, but 17's are a little big for my taste.

 

thanks for posting the pic on my thread for me, I cant post due to work filters... Also the guy never responded after he sent the first email so I will cross my fingers. I absolutely hate these wheels (they were on the car when I got it) and was forced to buy new tires 400+$ becuase they were shot and now want them gone... They are ugly as sin on this car...

 

Kumho Ecstas 205/40/17's all brand new. He said he has 1 year old kumhos on those rims... I agree 17's too big and makes my y8 struggle even more.

These wheels are the last piece of de-ricing that I have to do for my car.

id say tell him to give you more mooney on top although i hate the rims you have.. with new tires they are definately worth more than the ls mesh [which i love btw]
