not sure, you could probably find some chrome or polished ones that won't fade.

 

if you remove the finish they'll probably rust.

the plain chrome ones like to rust too, i recommend some black mutekis or some really good quality lugs in whatever color you want, because they'll probably stand up to the rust

 

dont they make stainless steel lugs? gonna get SS screws for my license plate before they start to rust. even if you removed the coating on aluminum they wouldnt rust. aluminum doesnt.
