I don't know much about rims and was just wondering if motegi is a good brand name.

meh they're alright. I'm pretty sure they're a bit heavy, and I've never seen any that I didn't think were ugly. But, I don't think you have to worry about the spokes breaking off from the hub or anything like that

 

I was going to buy some Motegi's for a while buy decided against it. Not because they are bad, i just found a better design. From what I know, Motegi is a great brand. They aren't an off-brand or anything. Check out their Traklites.
