how do i get the damn thing out! I tore the boot replacing an axle shaft, then decided to just pick up a new ball joint. How do i press it out of there> i have that c clamp with spacers to press it, but the top side doesnt have flush surface to put the spacer on.

 

you may need to put the bastard on a vise and once you remove the c clamp around the ball joint knock it out with a hammer hitting it so it would exit the hole its in by the wheel bearing. pounding it inward
