Default need some opinions on this

well i bought an 88 civic hb and i want to fix the suspension (the right way) before i do anything else to it I bought a set of h&r race springs for it now i want a good suspension but not too expensive.

Heres my first question
- is there a huge difference in tokico shocks and kyb Gr-2s?
how is the ride in both of them?
-What a good strut bar?
-The seller said the springs give it a 2 to 2.5 in drop whats a good camber kit or they all the same?
-what about the rear strut? (good Brand?)
-The Sway bars?
And the car is 17 yrs old should i replace all te bushings in the suspension will tis help out alot?

Any help would be great.... USMC Cpl Reyes

Default RE: need some opinions on this

I'll answer a couple

The KYB GR2's are basically OE replacement struts with better durability. Tokicos are actually dampers, meaning they're designed to damp the extra stiffness of drop springs and keep the lower car under control (keep it from slamming the bumpstops when you go over bumps, corner hard, etc.)

As for camber kit, the current favorite seems to be the Skunk2 or Skunk2 style kits.
