Default New Suspension Without Drop

I did a search and didn't find anything. I live in West Virginia so I decided that handling is more important than power because if you have been here then you know there realy aren't very many flat/strait places here. So I want to improve my suspension insted of my engine but I can't drop my ride because its already draging the ground alot now and its not even droped. My question is what could I replace to improve handling without droping my ride. I already have a front strut bar and I will be getting a rear strut bar, and what about a lower tie bar [I think thats what its called, its like a strut that goes under the car] Does that just bolt on like a strut? I have a 97 ex coupe.

Tires is the answer I think. Bigger rims with low profile racing tires.

Got them, 18" with Nankang Ultra Sport tires. Is there a shock that I could buy that doesn't drop my ride and still makes my handling better?

this is why everyone always says to stay away from huge body kits.

smaller, lighter wheels will help your handling and accelleration. you could look into sway bars and strut bars. they add some good handling for cheap.

Yea but I'm more form over function, even though most ppl don't like the form of my body kit either.

front and rear sway bars.

get some 22 or 23 mm rear bars if you can find 'em.

coilovers have adjustable height, so it is possible that you could keep them at full height and be close to stock height, while having a better suspension setup.

Coilovers are really expensive, but yeah strut bars will do ya some good. And is your kit urethane or fiberglass? Its is poly, it seems like you could drop it like 1.4" or 1.6" and even if you scrpaed its not like it will crack easy....i got a fiberglass kit and if you have one too, i definately see where you're coming from, that's why i haven't lowered my car either.

Yea it's fiberglass, I cracked the back side of my skirt last week because my stock rims make my car lower than my 18's, It matters that much.

sway bars, strut bars, koni yellows. This is another ideah that poped into my head...koni yellows have 3 settings for spring hight...so you could actualy lower a car with stock springs....tein s-tech springs are stiffer but lower your car almost 2" what u can do is get the teins then set the setting on the konis to the higher setting...canceling out the spring drop but u get stiffer springs. the stock OEM setting on konis is in the middle and has a higher and lower setting. please correct me if im wrong guys (which i could totaly be wrong) but i think that would work.
