Is there a shock that I could buy that doesn't drop my ride and still makes my handling better?
You're on the right track. Get some shocks and use your stock springs. Shocks don't lower your height, springs do. Rear swaybar front strut tower bar would help a lot too.

my stock rims make my car lower than my 18's, It matters that much.
then you have the wrong size tires on something, they should be the same diameter overall.

koni yellows have 3 settings for spring hight...so you could actualy lower a car with stock springs
that's not true, like amg6975 said, it's the springs that change the height

smaller, lighter wheels will help your handling and accelleration.
yes, smaller diameter lightweight wheels with good wide tires. 18s are not helping your handling

sway bars, strut bars, koni yellows. This is another ideah that poped into my head...koni yellows have 3 settings for spring hight...so you could actualy lower a car with stock springs....
Koni yellows have adjustable dampening. which means u can change how stiff or soft u want the shocks to be. has nothing to do with ride height. but u are right about the sway bars, strut bars, and shocks. all will make the car handle better with out lowering it.

oh, THAT. Yeah you can put the snap ring at three different heights. You're right, I understand what you were saying now.
