new wheels and car pulling

Default new wheels and car pulling

new wheels came 215/45/17 no rubbing or anything but everytime i go over a bump the car pulls in that direction and sometimes when i got from a stop without touching the steering wheel it goes to the left and when i stop without holding the wheel it goes to the right?

whats up with that

sounds like you need an alignment.

how much are they...some people i ask say a couple hundred some say 50

They are around $50, much more than that and your getting ripped off.

If you have coilovers and you raise/lower your car often, get a "lifetime" alignment plan. It's twice the price but you can get it done as many times as you want.

or cut a deal with your mechanic like i did... he will be doing alignment on my car every 6 months for $40 CAD. due to winter i need to raise and summer lower... and everytime you touch that suspension height an alignment needs to be done. $$$$$ on our civic huh!

I paid 95 bucks or so to get the lifetime alignment. So far, I've gotten it aligned 5 times.

it's partially due to the wider tires.
