New wheels here tonight/tire help.....
A friend of mine has a 1993 Civic CX hatch which he just swapped in a jdm b16 along with MANY other things with that engine (ie. fidenza flywheel, centerforce clutch, tokico illmuina shocks, tein s-techs, aem cai, hasport engine mounts...etc) and he also ended up getting new 16" enkie wheels. Long story short, I am buying his old 14" CX alloy wheels (no, they are not steelies with hubcaps) for $75. Thats all 4 wheels with tires, and i figure almost anything is better than my 14" steel wheels and hubcaps. The only "problem" is that the tires are shot. So I have been looking thru tires (I'm going to go with 195/60/14's), and have narrowed it down to 3 different ones.

Falken Azenis RT-615 link
Hankook Ventus R-S2 link
Any advice on which tires I should get (or possible other options) would be much appreciated!
peace, Evan
By the way, I don't care at all about snow/sleet traction because the old steelies will be back on once winter comes around.

That was my thought also, but the one thing holding me back on them (and tha hankooks for that case) is the treadwear. 200 for the Falkens and Hankooks, and I think the Yoko's are 280, but with only 80 difference would there actually be a noticable difference in how fast it wears?

i have a friend who swears by yokahama rubber and he is big into street course racing in his 95 EX coupe with 205/40ZR17. I think that it is a close call between the Falkons and Yoka's both r excellent tires
