you want 4x100 bolt pattern and depending on the size you get will depend on the offset but normally you shouldn't have to worry to much about that the larger the wheel they accomodate for the offset.

What the 4x100 means is, 4 bolts 100mm diameter, if you drew a circle that crossed through the center of all 4 bolts the diameter of that circle would be 100mm. A normal offset for 16" rims would be around 40-42 and for 17" a bit lower say in the range of 38-40. If I'm wrong please someone correct me, but I'm sure I'm close.

yeah, u will want 4x100 bolt pattern. the other popular bolt patterns available are 4x114, 5x100 and 5x114. Older accords I believe use the 4x114 as well as other cars. You dont want to get the wrong bolt pattern, because you wont be able to fit the wheel on there correctly.

If you are wondering the difference between the first number, the 5 stands for 5 lug, the 4 in this case is 4 lug, meaning there are 4 holes in the rim. Civics use 4 lug.

What diameter of wheel are you thinking of getting? IMO, 16" are the all around best......good looks, good performance, and still a comfortable ride.
