Hey guys looking for some help cuz im clueless. Everyonce in a while, when i go over bumps i hear this loud pinging sound. Anyone know whats wrong? It only happens sometimes, and ive tried going over speed bumps with only the right or left and it does it on both sides, but only sometimes. It seems completely random as to when it happens? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

it would help to know the conditions in which it happens. only when the car is hot or cold? air temp? where exactly is coming from? maybe a better description of the sound?

 

Yeah no problem. Sorry about that, I was just anxious, you know how it is when you think somethings wrong. It sounds like it's coming from the front. I think it's suspension related b/c it has nothing to do with throttle or engine temp. It happens whenever I hit bumps, but not all the time. It is not bottoming out and what i can't figure out is why it happens only sometimes under the same conditions.
