Default Poly inserts

I just installed my poly motor/tranny mount inserts this weekend. I only installed the front lowers instead off the fronts and the rear because I had heard that some experienced excessive vibration with all three sets installed.

Anyways, big improvement, my car doesn't buck and lurch like it did. I swear my fuel mileage is up too, which may be attributed to less energy loss torquing the engine around.

Also, I definately believe that there would be a little too much vibration in the car with all three sets, because with just the two that I installed, vibration is way up... any more would be too much for me IMO.

If anyways has the swinging back-and-forth lurching problem when getting going or shifting, poly inserts are definately the answer.

i installed all three on my car and it felt like the dash was gonna fall out, so i took the rear mounted one out and they are good now, the motor is still solid with the engine and tranny poly mounts... they just slip inbetween the openings on the rubber parts of the stock mounts, no cutting, stretching etc... Get them off ebay they are like what under 50 bucks shipped for some prothane ones. You can get them in either black or red

Mine were from energy suspension off ebay, I think they were like $35. The install was easy and only required simple hand tools and a jack.

Just wondering for those who have installed all three motor mounts, did you have a Haynes manual?

I was thinking of doing that with my Civic. The instructions have you do the final torque down for all three mounts in a particular order to prevent vibration.

I don't see how torquing them in a certain order could reduce vibration.
