Default Potenzas

Does anyone out there know the recommended psi for the type R 205/45 17 Bridgestone Potenzas. cannot find it anywhere on the net even Bridgestones website!

the tire should be inflated to about 40 lbs because it is a high performance low profile tire. i actually put like 42lbs into mine. I am running 205/40 R17 Kumho's. Personally, I think Kumho's are much better for the price.

get a pyrometer, its basically just a thermometer, and drive mostly in a straight line for a minute or two, them stop and hurry and check the tire temperature across the tire. if the middle is cooler than the outsides, inflate it a little, and vice-versa. i know this is kind of intensive, but it will give you the most grip possible. usually you aim for around 10-20 degrees of difference across the tire. probably overkill for most people though on a street car. most people run around 35-40 on low profile tires.
