putting on winter tires on 99 civic

Default putting on winter tires on 99 civic

my stock size is 185 65 14, i got a set of winters that are 185 65 15. do you guys think it might wreck my speedo... or worst, my transmission?

No it will not wreck your speedo or your tranny. The difference in speedo is barely any. And your tranny will not suffer at all either.

You will definitely see a difference in your speedometer, as the snow tires/wheels are 1-inch taller than your summer tires. Will they cause damage? ....only if they contact the fenders or suspension components. I guess the good thing is that you'll have more undercar clearance for snow.
