Default question about front to rear drop

why do most lowering springs you look at have a bigger drop for the front than the rear? ex. 1.8 front-1.6 rear.....i sure don't want the "race car" look with the front farther on the ground than the back, i want it to be level on both ends.. know what i mean??? anybody know? thanks in advance

If it's only 0.2 difference, the car will look pretty dang level. I have mine on coliovers adjusted low and high but that's because I like the low front and high rear.

You should be fine getting the 1.8 and 1.6

because the fenders aren't equal in the front and rear, they design the suspension around the way the vehicle sits, and the front is raised sometimes for a slight change in handling.

0.2 inches is about this far: | |

Don't sweat it. You're not even going to notice it.

Also: higher front = under steer & lower front = over steer. You canbalance how it handles using just the height.
