Default Replacing Tokico Illuminas?

I have some Tokico Illuminas lowered on H&R sport springs on an '00 ex coupe, and it seems like one or both of the front struts have gone bad. Seeing as how the warranty for the struts is voided since my car is lowered more than an inch, should I bother to replace the front one or two struts, or should I just go with a set of four struts of another brand? It seems like Illuminas weren't designed to be used on a car lowered that much. Also, I've heard this is a common problem with Illuminas.

After doing some searching, do you think Tokico HP's would do the trick?

well, they're cheaper.... so when you have to replace them again, it won't cost as much.....

the illuminas are supposed to be better than the HP's

I realize that the Illuminas are supposed to be better, but do you think the adjustability of it makes it more vulnerable to breakage? In any case, do you think I should replace the busted ones, or replace all four with something else?

I've read a bit about it, Koni Yellow seem to be a good choice i think. I would like to have some input, i was considering getting some Tokico, but i'm expecting them to last as long as the stock ones. I think lowering 1.5-2 inches is common thing, so would the Koni Yellow be a good set of shocks ?
