Default Rota Wheels

Are Rota Slipstream wheels JDM? Because a website I saw said that they were Spoon replicas of the SW-388, but the price is better, Im just worried about authenticity.

Nope, not JDM. They're replica's, like it says... They're still good wheels though. I'm getting Rotas in the spring.

they ar readily available in the US, so that makes them not JDM. true JDM stuff usually only comes in to the US through a couple of importers. Like Mugen is almost exclusively imported through King Motorsports.

Great rims for a great price who cares where they are from, not many "knock-off" companies get a good name in the import/car scene but Rota has done just that.

yeah, Rotas are probably the best deal in wheels. cheap, light, and strong enough for almost anything you will ever throw at it.

If you are worried about authenticity you better start looking for the real ones.

Im not even sure where you would find them but Id plan on spending about 1500-2000 bucks, without tires.

rotas are a good alternative to spoon's because they are cheap, and if you live in a pothole city aka detroit like me those spoons wouldn't last 1 year.
